The Grace Multi-Agent System Graphical user Interface (Independent Meta Agent).

The Grace project is going to be concluded! After three years of hard but exciting work, all the planned project objectives have been reached and next week the results will be officially presented to the EU Commission.

Over the last months all the partners have been fully committed in the project and they have worked in strict collaboration in order to finalize all the activities expected in Work Package 5 (Implementation and Validation). The overall result is the development of a prototype that integrates contributes of WP1 (Multi-Agent Architecture), WP2 (Self-Adaptation and Self-Optimization) and WP3 (Modular and Self-Optimizing Quality Control) and WP4 (Engineering Methodology) for the specific case study of the Whirlpool washing machines factory.

To the purpose, from October 2012 to May 2013 all the partners met in several “Technical Working Sessions” at the Whirlpool premises in Naples for a total of four full working weeks. During the last working session, from May 20th to May 24th 2013, the final Grace Multi-Agent System has run with the real production providing self-adaptation and self-optimization capabilities!

Next week, on June 13th-14th, the Grace Project partners will be keen to welcome the EU Commission in Naples and to show the results achieved at the end of the three years.

Stay tuned for updates!
